The platinum version represents the most refined and introspective expression of the Mondphase II. A quiet contrast defines its character. Deep blue tones meet the soft warmth of German silver, forming a composition that feels both precise and calm. Nothing asserts itself, everything exists in balance. It does not reveal itself at once. Its depth unfolds gradually, through proportion, light, and restraint
At the heart of this piece lies a subtle interplay of material and color. The bridges are crafted from German silver, chosen for its natural, almost muted warmth. In contrast, the dial elements and meteorite base are heat treated, allowing deep blue and violet tones to emerge. These hues are not applied, but formed through temperature, shifting gently as the light moves. What appears static at first begins to change over time, revealing a quiet sense of movement within the stillness.
At the center, the moon itself is formed from genuine lunar meteorite, paired with aventurine to create a dialogue between material and illusion. Around it, the gear train unfolds in a carefully calculated architecture, guiding the flow of energy with precision. Frosted bridges and polished bevels bring structure and light into balance, revealing the movement as a living landscape. Beneath it all, a layer of aventurine extends across the base, adding depth and creating the impression of looking into a vast, mechanical universe.
